“Having a place to go is HOME. Having someone
to love is FAMILY. Having both is a BLESING.”
This is on my grandma’s wall and is so true and meaningful. A home
doesn’t have to be a house it can be anything you want it to be. It is just a
place to go and be at. It’s a place to rest and sleep. Some people’s homes are
a house and where they live. Other people’s homes are places were they go to
get away from their house. Homes can be anything were you can. I believe it’s
also a place for safety. Family is someone that loves you. Family doesn’t have
to be through blood. Doesn’t have to be parents or siblings. Family just has to
be a bond between two or more people. I even believe that family can be with
animals. I believe that my bowling team and golf teams are families because we
all want the best for each other. Also families are people that have a love
hate relationship. Mostly love though. Having both is truly a blessing. It
means that you have a place that you belong and feel safe and you have people
that love you and you love them. Remember that these things are not forced on you.
You have to be able to create this place called home and love these people
called family.
